I’m a highly experienced Facilities Management professional with over 30 years of expertise in both operational and consultancy roles in the public and private sectors. My work includes extensive involvement in PFI/PPP projects at all levels, providing strategic consultancy to end clients, FM providers, consortiums, SPVs, and funders. I specialise in contract analysis, operational support, commercial negotiation, and project evaluation.
My consultancy spans healthcare, education, defence, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. Having worked across all sides of the contracting landscape, I bring an uncommonly balanced and commercially credible approach to contractual arrangements, risk, and costings.
I have operated for many years as a self‑employed FM Consultant, following senior industry roles including Strategic Development Manager at HOCHTIEF FM, Associate at Davis Langdon (where I led the Asset and Facilities Consulting Team for Scotland), and Regional Commercial Manager at Land Securities Trillium.
I currently provide commercial support to live projects and contribute to business development for new opportunities, primarily in the UK and Ireland with occasional international work. My services include process and service reviews, auditing, benchmarking, market testing, commercial negotiation, variation analysis, defect management, dispute resolution, and liaison with parent companies and stakeholders.
