I am a highly experienced Facilities Management professional with over 30 years of expertise in both operational and consultancy roles across the public and private sectors, including extensive involvement in PFI/PPP projects at all levels. This has included provided strategic consulting to end clients, FM providers, Consortiums, SPVs and funders, specialising in contract analysis, operational support, commercial negotiations, and project evaluations. Consultancy has been delivered across the healthcare, education, defence, industrial and infrastructure sectors, with the breadth of knowledge, delivered from all sides of the contracting landscape, allow meto take an uncommonly balanced and commercially credible approach to contractual arrangements, risk, and costings.
I have operating for many years as a self-employed FM Consultant with Strategic Development Manager for HOCHTIEF FM; Associate at Davis Langdon within the Asset and Facilities Consulting Team (responsible for the Scottish Region) and Regional Commercial Manager for Land Securities Trillium amongst my (previously) employed roles.
I have/am currently providing commercial support to existing projects and business development support for new opportunities, predominantly in the UK and Ireland but also internationally. This support ranges from service and process reviews and auditing through benchmarking/market testing exercises, commercial negotiation, variation analysis, defect processing, dispute resolution to Parent Company Liaison and reporting.
