Who we are?

Andrew Tether trading as Sisu-FM is the operator of this web site and has the responsibility for data control.

What information do we collect?

No personal information is required to view or utilise the web site. The only information collected will be that supplied by you in contacting us and in the normal course of business. It is assumed that any information supplied by you is provided on that basis. If this is not the case then this should be clearly indicated when supplying the information.

WordPress Jetpack (analytics) is utilised to track the basic information of visitors to the site (visitor numbers; Country Location etc). No personally identifiable information is retained. Cookies may be used to facilitate analytics.

If you send any documents or images either by email or through the “Contact” form please note these may contain meta-data such as author; dates and embedded location data. If you do not want this information retained with the relevant documents then please remove it before sending.

How do we use personal information?

Any data provided by you is used purely to respond to your query/contact. Any details retained will be only in relation to services and to administer any business (current or future) we may have and to offer you future services. No information is shared outside of the company unless either with your consent or required under any competent legal proceeding.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) the basis for processing your data is ‘Consent’. It is assumed that by contacting us and providing any information at that time or as part of ongoing business, you are consenting to us holding and utilising the information.

How do we secure personal data?

No data is retained by us at web site level (notwithstanding comments re analytics noted above). Messages; documents etc. may be stored on personal computers/mobile devices which are access protected (with installed anti-virus software as applicable) and on network storage devices attached to a local area network.  If your information requires special handling or storage please let us know when providing.

How long do we keep your personal data for?

Emails and documents sent (which may contain personal information) may be saved in incremental backups and, as such, may be retained in archived form indefinitely as the time period for legal disputes is very long. If you have a concern with respect you your data being archived, please note this when submitting information.

Contact information will be retained for the duration of any business and six years thereafter unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights in relation to personal data
